Running WPS Office on Linux: install and daily use

WPS for Linux ships deb and rpm packages covering Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, openSUSE and major Chinese distributions.

Install

• Debian/Ubuntu: sudo dpkg -i wps-office.deb, then sudo apt -f install if dependencies are missing;
• Fedora/openSUSE: sudo rpm -ivh wps-office.rpm;
• Chinese distributions often ship it in their app stores.

Fonts

SimSun or Microsoft YaHei may be missing. Copy the fonts into /usr/share/fonts and run fc-cache -fv.

Experience

Writer, Spreadsheets and Presentation are complete; printing and PDF export work. Some advanced macro features depend on system components, so keep LibreOffice as a backup.
