Your phone as a scanner: scan to document in WPS

Capture tips

• Even light, no shadows from your hand or phone;
• Keep the lens parallel to the page;
• A white sheet under the document helps edge detection.

Steps

1. Open WPS → Tools → Scan to document;
2. Auto edges are detected; adjust the four corners manually;
3. Choose Enhance or Black and white for legibility;
4. Shoot several pages and merge them into one PDF.

Afterwards

Run OCR on the PDF and convert to Word if you need to edit. Keep the original colour scan for contracts.
