Wrap styles

  • In line with text: moves with text, good for diagrams and screenshots;
  • Square / Tight: text flows around, good for mixed layouts;
  • Behind text: backgrounds and watermarks.

Batch work

  1. Ctrl-click several images and align them together;
  2. Picture Tools → Compress to shrink the file;
  3. Replace picture keeps the existing size and cropping.

Sharpness

Crop before inserting and avoid enlarging low-resolution images; use 300 DPI for print.
