WPS Office is highly compatible with Microsoft Office. Common scenarios:
- Formats: two-way reading and writing of doc/docx, xls/xlsx, ppt/pptx with consistent layout;
- Fonts: bundled CJK and Latin fonts, with fallback substitution;
- Formulas & charts: Excel formulas and charts stay editable;
- Macros: some VBA macros need the macro environment enabled;
- Encrypted files: password-protected Office documents open fine.
For layout differences, adjust default fonts and line spacing under Settings › Compatibility.
